Sloppy Joe Recipe With Gravy And Mashed Potatoes

For the Mashed Potatoes:
3 kilos russet potatoes, peeled and quartered
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/4 cup sour cream
1/4 cup chopped recent parsley
Salt and pepper to taste

– Cook floor beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain off extra grease.
– Add onion, green pepper and celery to floor beef and saute until softened, about 5 minutes.
– Stir in tomato sauce, tomato paste, brown sugar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
– Bring to a simmer and cook for quarter-hour, or until thickened.
– Serve on toasted buns with mashed potatoes and gravy, if desired.

4. Add 1/2 cup of milk, 1/4 cup of butter, and 1/4 cup of sour cream to the potatoes.
5. Use a potato masher or electrical mixer to mash the potatoes until they are easy and creamy.
6. Season the mashed potatoes with salt and pepper to taste.
