1 pound ground beef

1/4 cup brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

For the grilled cheese sandwiches:

8 slices white bread

8 slices cheddar cheese

Butter for greasing the pan

For the mash-up:

4 grilled cheese sandwiches

1 cup sloppy joe mix

– 2 tablespoons tomato paste
– half of cup ketchup
– 1/4 cup brown sugar
– 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
– 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
– 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon onion powder
– Salt and pepper to style

For the Grilled Cheese:

– eight slices of white bread
– four tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
– eight slices of American cheese

For the Sloppy Joe Mix:

1. In a big skillet over medium heat, brown the bottom beef. Drain off any extra fats.
2. Add the onion, green bell pepper, and pink bell pepper to the skillet and cook until softened about 5 minutes.

half of cup butter, softened

Instructions:

3. Stir within the tomato sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook dinner for 15 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
