Sloppy Joe Bruschetta Recipe For A Fun Appetizer
Ingredients
For the sloppy joe combination:
– 1 pound ground beef
– 1/2 onion, chopped
– 1 green bell pepper, chopped
– 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
– 1 (15 ounce) can tomato paste
– 1 cup water
– half cup brown sugar
– 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
– 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
– 1 teaspoon floor mustard
– half of teaspoon salt
– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
For the bruschetta:

1 loaf French bread, reduce into 1-inch thick slices
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
Salt and pepper to taste

1 pound floor beef
1 onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon mustard
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
To make the sloppy joe mixture:
1. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the bottom beef and onion, stirring sometimes to interrupt up the beef. Once the beef is now not pink and the onion is softened, drain off any extra grease.
2. Stir within the ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Bring the combination to a simmer and then reduce warmth to low. Cook for 15 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
3. Transfer the sloppy joe combination to a bowl and put aside to chill slightly.
