Family-Friendly Egg Roll Bowl Recipe

Ingredients

1 lb floor pork

half head of green cabbage, shredded

1 cup shredded carrots

half cup chopped onion

1/2 cup soy sauce

1/4 cup brown sugar

3 tablespoons rice vinegar

2 tablespoons sesame oil

1 teaspoon floor ginger

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon pepper

12 wonton wrappers

Vegetable oil, for frying

For the Sauce

Ingredients, For the Sauce:

– 1/4 cup soy sauce

– 1/4 cup water

– 1/4 cup hoisin sauce

– 1/4 cup brown sugar

– 1 tablespoon rice vinegar

– 1 tablespoon sesame oil

– 1 tablespoon cornstarch

– 1 teaspoon floor ginger

– 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

For the Egg Roll Bowl

Instructions:

1. Heat sesame oil in a big skillet or Dutch oven over medium heat. Add chicken and cook, breaking it up into small items, until cooked via and no longer pink within the heart.

2. Add cabbage, carrots, and onion to the skillet and prepare dinner, stirring sometimes, till softened, about 5 minutes.

3. Stir in rice, soy sauce, garlic powder, and ginger powder. Cook for 3 minutes, or till the rice is heated through.

– Reduce heat to low and simmer for five minutes, or till thickened.
