Egg Roll Bowl For A Crowd: Easy And Shareable

Ingredients

  • 1 pound frozen ground pork, thawed
  • 1/2 cup chopped green cabbage
  • 1/2 cup chopped carrots

  • 1 (1-inch) piece recent ginger, peeled and minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon Chinese rice wine
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon floor white pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 cup chopped recent cilantro

For the sauce

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

For serving

Ingredients:

– 1 pound ground beef

– 1 bundle (1 ounce) taco seasoning

– 1 (15 ounce) can black beans, drained and rinsed

– 1 (15 ounce) can corn, drained

– 1 cup brown rice, cooked

– half of cup shredded cheddar cheese

– 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

– 1/4 cup chopped green onions

– 1/4 cup chopped bell pepper

– Optional: Sour cream, guacamole, salsa

For Serving:

– Tortilla chips

– Lettuce wraps

– Rice paper

– Wonton wrappers

Instructions

To make the egg roll filling

1. Shred the cabbage in a food processor or with a knife.

2. Chop the carrots and green onions into small pieces.

3. In a big bowl, mix the cabbage, carrots, green onions, minced garlic, ginger, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and white pepper.

4. Mix well to combine all of the ingredients.

5. Taste and adjust the seasonings as needed.

6. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least half-hour, or as a lot as in a single day.

To make the sauce

Make the Sauce:

Whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, brown sugar, garlic powder, and ginger powder in a medium bowl until easy.
