Creamy Parmesan Chicken Gravy For Pasta Dishes

Ingredients

• three cups milk

• 1 cup chicken broth

• half cup grated Parmesan cheese

• 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano

• 1/4 teaspoon dried basil

• Salt and pepper to taste

  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus more for serving
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Season chicken with salt and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add chicken to skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes per side or until cooked by way of.
  • Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  • Add butter to skillet and soften over medium warmth.
  • Add flour to butter and whisk to mix.
  • Cook for 1 minute, whisking continually.
  • Gradually whisk in milk until easy.
  • Bring to a simmer and cook dinner for five minutes, stirring sometimes.
  • Stir in Parmesan cheese and salt and pepper to style.
  • Add cooked chicken gravy to skillet and stir to coat in gravy.
  • Serve over pasta.

Whisk in flour until smooth.

Gradually whisk in milk, chicken broth, and water.

Bring combination to boil, stirring constantly.

Reduce heat and simmer 1 minute or till thickened.

Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.
