Creamy Parmesan Chicken Gravy For Pasta Dishes

• 1/4 teaspoon dried basil

- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus more for serving

- Season chicken with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add chicken to skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes per side or until cooked by way of.
- Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- Add butter to skillet and soften over medium warmth.
- Add flour to butter and whisk to mix.
- Cook for 1 minute, whisking continually.
- Gradually whisk in milk until easy.
- Bring to a simmer and cook dinner for five minutes, stirring sometimes.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese and salt and pepper to style.
- Add cooked chicken gravy to skillet and stir to coat in gravy.
- Serve over pasta.

Whisk in flour until smooth.
Gradually whisk in milk, chicken broth, and water.
Bring combination to boil, stirring constantly.
Reduce heat and simmer 1 minute or till thickened.
